She said that she picked her up and held her in her arms.She recalled telling her injured daughter, “Girl, you can’t die now!” even as the shooter stood over them pressing on the trigger of the silver pistol; the gun clicked three times. At one point, Kennedy said that she started to advance toward the shooter but her fianc? keep her back, telling her that Maynard was still armed and could shoot her as well.Kennedy said that after Maynard left the scene of the shooting, she followed him leaving her fianc?, Collis Bruce, to take her daughter to the hospital.? The woman recalled that she trailed Maynard, who walked until he was in the vicinity of City Hall, on Regent Street.? There, the woman told court that she saw Maynard brandish the gun at Rasta man, who was passing on a bicycle and the man dismounted his cycle and handed it over to Maynard. And he took off.Bruce was next to testify. He told the court that after witnessing the shooting he took Carlissa Mathews to GPHC.
