The Youth Coalition for Transformation (YCT) has categorically stated that they would not be boycotting Mashramani celebrations as is being rumored. YCT member Annette Ferguson on Friday, at a press conference, stated that they will be participating in Mashramani activities on the road and in the National Park on 23rd February 2012.Ferguson said that the YCT recognizes that Mashramani is a Guyanese holiday, where the people have an opportunity to celebrate after hard work.
