The new administration has hinted that talks may be ongoing with Elisabeth Harper, former Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,Bobby Doerr Jersey, for a possible ambassadorial appointment.Harper, a long serving Foreign Affairs official surprisingly came out as the Prime Ministerial candidate of the former ruling party, the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) for the May 11, 2015 General and Regional Elections. Her party lost the elections.Harper stepped down as Director General prior to the elections.Yesterday,Aleksander Barkov Jersey, after a business meeting at the Pegasus Hotel,Alex DeBrincat Jersey, Kingston, Foreign Affairs Minister,Cheap NHL Jerseys, Carl Greenidge, was pressed by reporters on whether the new administration is in talks with Harper,Nike Vapormax Plus Sunset, who was also Guyana’s Ambassador to CARICOM.Greenidge admitted that he spoke to Harper a few weeks ago,Air Max 270 Sale, on a variety of matters including the ongoing Venezuela controversy.Greenidge was non-committal on whether she is being considered as ambassador to neighbouring Venezuela, currently a hotspot because of claims that that country has on Guyana.The current ambassador is Geoff Da Silva. Greenidge said that he was neither “denying” nor “concurring”.As a matter of fact, “everybody” is being considered for overseas posting.He declined to say more.
